MAKING A PENTACLE

Unlike amulets and talismans, traditional pentacles are handmade. They don’t have to have a nice design or be made of some special materials to serve you faithfully.

Today, most popular pentacles are those made of cardboard or paper. Paper or cardboard pentacles are called stamps. Stamps which are supposed to do good are red. If you make a pentacle for another person, write down this person’s name and date of birth on the back of the stamp.

When you finish making a pentacle, charge it with your energy. There are several methods how to charge a pentacle. 

Dip a ready stamp into melted wax (it absorbs and preserve information). Put it on your left palm. Run the fingertips of your right hand over the stamp clockwise, focusing your mental and emotional powers, visualize the final results of the stamp (why you make it).

Take the stamp out of the wax and put it between your palms (keep your palms pressed together in a prayer-like fashion). Make sure your thumbs touch your chest (where the heart is). 

In both cases, say the following spell, “Oh, eternal, endless Spirit! I invite you with love and ask you with belief: fill this sign with power and energy!” Repeat the spell three times.

After you finish consecrating the pentacle, make sure nobody touches it except its owner (or, which is better, nobody sees it except the owner).

Touch the pentacle with your hand several times a day and focus on its mission.

You don’t necessarily have to take the images of pentacles from magical rituals. You can design your pentacle the way you want, charge it with your energy and make it your protector or helper (it depends) for many years to come.
