It is hardly possible to remember how it worked.  Moreover, it never had some features attributed to it now. Yet, it was undoubtedly the most powerful amulet in the world and the memory of it was passed from generation to generation. As a result, now, thousands of years later, it is mentioned in myths and fairy tales.

Anyway, the value of powerful amulets has to do with their value as antiques. It is impossible to assess the magical properties of the most powerful amulet because it may not have any in case its owner changes.

Old powerful amulets have a character and it is their decision whether they want to serve their new owners or not. If your amulet likes you, it will help you. If it does not, it will go into a kind of magical hibernation or even punish you to make you leave it alone.

Amulets may lose their magical properties with the death of their owners. Their mission is considered accomplished – they help their owners until the day they pass away. Also, magical amulets can follow their owners to the next world in the form of energy to help them there.

I am not surprised that your amulet does not work. Even if it is the most powerful amulet in the world, it still follows the above described rules. • It does not have to be made of expensive materials;
• It has to be sold by its manufacturer;
• It should have no more than 2 or 3 replicas (the more replicas, the more unlikely it is that it is the most powerful amulet you are looking for);

You can do whatever you want. The question is if your amulets will work. An amulet is just a shell for energies and powers which can change your energies, inner strength and consequently your fate. A true spellcaster, even though selects the right materials for his amulet and spends a lot of time manufacturing it, spends more time and applies more effort to charge and customize it.

For example, a spellcaster waits for a storm and gets on top of a high tower built specially for this ritual. He catches a lightning and directs it at the amulet sealing it to keep it there for many years to come. The power of this lightning will feed the amulet turning it into the most powerful amulet.

This example best describes the spellcaster’s actions. You cannot repeat them. Therefore, even if you manage to make something that looks like some powerful amulets, it will not be a real amulet.
